Forgotten Film

It's unfortunately far too easy for me to lose sight of where I started.

As I was reorganizing files recently, I stumbled across my first-year photography projects from college (circa 2009, 2010). As I matured as a photographer and student, I remember criticizing these images from my "humble beginnings" and only archiving them for sentimental purposes.

Five years later, I was so excited to see these old friends. Though not technically excellent, each image represents my eager start to this career path and so many amazing friends-turned-models that spent hours helping me produce each of them.

Let's reminisce.

Portrait Photography | Kernersville, North Carolina

I've been fortunate enough to fly back to my hometown in North Carolina several times since my move across the country in 2013.

On my most recent trip back a couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to photograph a gorgeous cousin of mine on the rural property where some of my family lives. We couldn't have asked for a better backdrop provided by nature in it's fall colors.

My cousin, Jordan, is celebrating her upcoming graduation from high school and our entire family is so proud of her and all she's accomplished.

Portrait Photography | Chapel Hill, North Carolina

This season, for me, has been one of sitting back and watching people I love complete goals and make their dreams come to life.

My wonderful friend, Megan, is one of these people, and I am so proud of her, among many of my other friends for graduating from college this year.

Megan had me come to Chapel Hill to photograph her all dressed in "Carolina Blue". I couldn't have been more honored to do so.

Congratulations to everyone of you who are accomplishing great things!
